The Boat
Dive Runner was launched in 1993 from the port of Cairo and ever since has been cruising the best diving sites of the northern Red Sea.
In April 2007 Barry and Gina Thomson bought the boat and moved the family to the Southern Sinai for several years to offer diving at its best, Now based back in the UK we have a team in Sharm who run and look after the boat which allows us time in both country's. Being British run and owned, we'd like you to be a part of this unique family experience during your stay on board.
Dive Runner is the ideal boat for groups of up to 12 people.
She has a large diving deck with a low diving platform, with racks for ample storage of equipment, which are all fitted with 220v plugs
The exterior of the boat has a spacious sundack with wind protected seating, offering plenty of room for relaxation and a large bow area
perfect for sunworshippers, Additionally, for those who enjoy a little solitude it is possible to spend the night underneath the stars on top of the Captains stand.
The boat is fitted with five cabins, each with two beds and opening side windows, at the front of the corridor leading to all the cabins we have had a door fitted for safety reasons, it also allows a nice breeze through all the cabins to keep you cool.
There are two bathrooms with WC and shower, a fully fitted Galley (with chef) Saloon and naturally, Dive Runner is fully equipped with all the necessary safety equipment with life jackets and fire extinguisher's in all rooms as well as on all decks. Dive Runner also carries the relevant spare parts and tools for a trouble free voyage
we have our own Zodiac (Rib) which we take on all safaris, it can accommodate 10 divers at a time and is a necessity to get to some dive sites.
All tanks and weights are supplied with Din or international fittings and all the air fills required.
So while you are diving the clear warm waters our chef will be preparing delicious food for your return.
